The Journey North report for March 3rd pulls together reports to date. It's a worrisome year. Very low counts of mother/calf pairs in the lagoons.

perhaps they are just a bit late this year? seems like we were whale watching in the Sound for grays in mid march last year. can't recall the exact date, and those were some late ones perhaps, but we saw a few then, i know.
It does sound worrisome. I hope sky is right and that more will come a bit later.
